Kevin Fitzpatrick, DDS, MS, grew up in Michigan where he attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy and was initially stationed at Camp Pendleton, California, followed by assignments in Coronado and San Diego. The Navy continued to provide adventure and opportunities for travel to lovely destinations like Kuwait, Somalia and Djibouti. Dr. Fitzpatrick then headed east to Bethesda, Maryland, where he completed a two-year residency in comprehensive dentistry and earned a master’s degree in oral biology from George Washington University School of Medicine. He has attained dual board-certification as a diplomate of the American Board of General Dentistry and as a diplomate of the Federal Services Board of General Dentistry.

The Navy then sent Dr. Fitzpatrick to the NATO base in Keflavík, Iceland, where he spent a year and a half dreaming of warm days and sunny beaches. Once back in San Diego, he resigned his commission from the Navy so that he could begin building his dream dental practice.

Dr. Kevin Fitzpatrick embraces a proactive and preventive dental health care philosophy which integrates scientific principles of evidence-based dentistry, minimally-invasive dentistry and dental care of the highest quality. He is dedicated to attending continuing education and utilizing the latest advancements in dentistry.  What does this mean to you? You will receive top-notch care from Dr. Fitzpatrick and his team, and they are committed to honest and ethical treatment with your best interests first and foremost.

Dr. Fitzpatrick is married to his best friend, Lisa, and they have been blessed with a son and twin girls. The Fitz Family is frequently found together on bike rides or playing together at the beach or nearby parks. In his spare time, Dr. Kevin Fitzpatrick enjoys distance running, hiking, mountain biking, long board surfing, downhill skiing, playing/coaching soccer, playing drums and percussion, and cooking (but not all of these at once).
